The Canton Charge "War Room" is set up on the stage with Charge GM Wes Wilcox and coach Alex Jensen on the stage. With the first pick of the 2011 NBDL Draft the LA Defender's select former Pacer and NBA player Jamaal Tinsley.
- The Canton Charge with the 15th pick select Tyrell Biggs Foward from Pitt University. Biggs has played overseas the last couple years.
- Biggs at the podium talking to the media right now, says that the NBDL gives him a good opportunity to showcase himself and get to the NBA. He says he is excited to come to Canton and just wants to win. He said he felt good about the workout he had with the Charge and felt good about the meetings he had with their management.
- Canton Charge next pick is in the 4th round, former franchise New Mexico Thunderbirds forfeited picks in 2nd and 3rd round
- With the second pick in the 4th Round the Canton Charge select T.J. Campbell Guard from University of Portland another former overseas player
- Campbell a 5'9'' Point Guard
- Charge have the 15th pick in round 5 and now have two guards - McLeod and Campbell and two fowards - Jamine Peterson and Tyrell Biggs
